  • Applicants must be at least 30 years of age as of June 5, 2019
  • Applicants must be amateurs, e.g. not derive their principal source of income from public performances or piano teaching
  • Applications must be postmarked by April 1, 2019

The Application Fee is 
$ 220 if paid by March 1, 2019 (early-bird discount) 
$ 255 thereafter until April 1, 2019.

The Boston Piano Amateurs Association is arranging for a limited number of dormitory rooms at Lesley University for contestants during the 2019 Competition. Lesley University is near the Longy School of Music. The prices will be considerably less than hotels in the area. Lesley University has air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned single and double rooms. More information and prices can be found by visiting their Summer Housing webpage here.  

Rooms will be available on a first-come first-served basis. Contestants who are interested should contact the University directly to arrange accommodations. Contact information is at the bottom of the Summer Housing page referenced above.
